By having our own manufacturing facility, Shaller is able to manufacture both Karts and parts with the highest quality materials, and with the highest standards of manufacturing. Why is having a dedicated R&D and manufacturing facility so important? Rapid innovation is the key. Making incremental changes at a rapid pace allows Shaller to continuously improve our Karts for our customers, and to challenge the industry to raise the bar on quality. When we build our Karts, each Kart is built with a focus on quality and safety. Shaller has Karts still operating on tracks throughout the USA that have several million miles of drive time on the original GoKart frames. This kind of durability can only be achieved by building Karts with continuous improvements over time, infused with the quality customers and patrons deserve.

At Shaller, we believe passion drives our constant focus on continuous improvement. The creative process comes to fruition with hard effort. This past year we designed and developed a European-style high-speed GoKart with the durability to stand up to demanding U.S. drivers. We conceptualized, engineered, and developed this Kart, we call, The Maverick.  

At Shaller, we test multiple prototypes until the Kart is deemed ready for market release. Our Maverick testing is rigorous, including many tweaks and minor design changes throughout the production process. We take our time to test multiple chassis, motors, and batteries, and to make the necessary spindle adjustments required to achieve the ideal balance and easy ride demanded by customers. The Maverick will be released toward the end of the second quarter of 2019.

High-speed Karts from Europe are not manufactured to hold up to the demands of U.S. drivers. At Shaller, we designed and engineered The Maverick with a fantastic look, but with the quality and durability to last day after day, month after month, year after year. That’s innovation engineered.

We also recently designed a new replacement bucket seat to replace old upholstered seats in GoKarts. We wanted the perfect replacement drop-in seat, so we designed it, and now are manufacturing it. We’re also releasing a new steering wheel replacement pad that works on most Karts. You can bet we won’t stop there, because we have the facility and the staff to design what we want, exactly how we want to build it, to meet the growing needs of the FEC and amusement industries.
